Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand hopes his youngsters can continue the excellent form that saw them draw 2-2 at Liverpool.
The Red Devils impressed by taking a point from Anfield on Sunday, but Rio Ferdinand doesn’t want his youngsters to just play well this time and then be as bad as before in the next game.
“Yesterday (Sunday) I thought Ugarte played exceptionally, I thought Mazraoui played exceptionally well and Dalot was outstanding,” Rio said. “But I don’t want to see seven or eight out of 10 this week and then four or five out of 10 next week. That’s the standard, keep going like that and keep that standard.”
