Former defender Martin Keown believes Liverpool’s Premier League title triumph this season will not be easy as they still have a tough schedule to play in the second half of the season.
Arne Slot’s side have made a fine start to the season, sitting top of the table with a six-point lead over Arsenal after 19 games and with a game in hand.
However, Keown believes the road สมัครสมาชิก UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีทุกวัน ahead for the Reds is a tough one. But still sees the leaders as the favourites to take home the title.
“Liverpool still have a tough game to play in order to get to the title,” Keown told talkSPORT. “Yes, they look halfway through but they have a tough away game as well as Arsenal had Brighton, Brighton spent £200m last summer. That’s not an easy stadium to go to.
“I think Liverpool will have that kind of game. I was a little bit surprised by yesterday’s game (Sunday – against Man United) which might have taken a little bit of a beating for them. They are favourites to win the title but there’s still a long way to go, there’s 19 games to play.”
“They’ve got to go to Man City, they’ve got to go to Villa, they’ve got to go to Bournemouth, who have beaten Man City, Spurs and Arsenal, which is not easy at the moment – they’ve got to go to Forest, who they’ve lost to this season, and they’ve got to go to London, Fulham and Chelsea, those are tough places that Arsenal have played.”
“They have a lot of tough games in the second half of the season. They have to win them before Arsenal can come back in the end of the season.”
