Gary Lineker believes Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson can become a top player if he improves his finishing.

Jackson has improved this season, scoring nine goals in 19 league games compared to 14 in 35 games last term, but has missed good chances on several occasions and Lineker believes the 23-year-old has what it takes to become a top player if he improves his finishing.
“There’s a lot of good things in his game,” Lineker said of Jackson on The Rest Is Football podcast. “His movement is really good. It’s not easy if you’re not a natural finisher, and I don’t think he is.”
“But if he can improve in that aspect of his game and train better. He can เล่น UFABET ผ่านมือถือ สะดวกทุกที่ ทุกเวลา become a top player – he’s still very young. So there’s still room for improvement.”
Micah Richards echoed the sentiment, saying: “We talked about the intensity earlier in the programme and I think Nicolas Jackson is a good player. I give him a lot of credit.”
“But he has to be more clinical, he has to put the ball in the back of the net, that’s the difference. There will be times when you concede goals and Chelsea have had many chances to score and they haven’t. That has affected them in the last four games.”
